Running over three days, the annual Trainees’ Weekend is a modern national forum that brings together General Surgery Trainees from across Australia for an intensive educational weekend, focusing on key areas of the Curriculum where day-to-day surgical exposure may be limited - bridging the knowledge and skills gap.

A highlight of the program is 'Demystifying the Fellowship Examination', where delegates will hear from a RACS Court of Examiner and a recent exam passee, providing first-hand advice and invaluable knowledge to those preparing for the exam - now and into the future.

Faculty is made up of senior Consultants who are experts in their chosen specialties, providing valuable insight and experience, and aiming to guide delegates through their training into their ongoing careers.

*Please note, this is a national event for those already enrolled in the General Surgery SET and GSET programs.
